Committee Openings

                The City of Belfast has openings on the following committees that serve various functions within the City of Belfast.                       

 Airport Advisory Committee

Board of Assessment Review

Broadband Committee

Cemetery Board of Trustees

Climate Change Committee

Energy Committee

Harbor Advisory Committee

Library Board of Trustees

Parks & Recreation Commission

Pedestrian, Biking & Hiking Committee

Planning Board

Water District Trustees

Zoning Board of Appeals

            Anyone interested in serving on these or any other city committees should obtain an application from the City of Belfast web site at - committee page or from the City Clerk’s office at City Hall 131 Church Street, Belfast, Maine 04915. 

Positions remain open until filled.  All Applicants must be a Belfast resident and at least 18 years of age.  The Belfast City Council will review all applications and make appointments for current openings at a duly called council meeting.

 Please submit all applications to the City Clerk’s office by mail, in person or via email no later than June 24, 2019.
