Like other coastal communities, Belfast is feeling the impacts of sea level rise, storm surge, and increased precipitation. The January 2024 storms were devastating to residents, properties, and infrastructure and point to the need to address the City’s most at-risk areas and infrastructure. This project is made possible by a Community Action Grant through the Community Resilience Partnership of the Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future.
