Belfast Boathouse

The Belfast Parks and Recreation Department created its new 2025 Parks and Recreation Department Fee Policy in January 2025. The Belfast City Council approved this policy on January 7, 2025, and approved updates to the policy on April 1, 2025. Click here to view the 2025 updates to the Fee Schedule & Reservation Policy. This document includes the Belfast Boathouse fee schedule, policies, and procedures, which have been updated.

There are now two rental seasons--the High Season (May 1-October 31) and the Off Season (November 1-April 30); the Off Season is set to begin Fall 2025, essentially making the Belfast Boathouse a year-round rental facility.

Please click for the Belfast Boathouse Rental Packet, which is a Fillable PDF to include e-signatures.  For any large special events that may require space at Steamboat Landing Park, you will also need to complete a Facility Use Request (also a Fillable PDF) for that park space.  Large special events must complete requests at least 60 days in advance of events, and other rentals should allow at least three weeks; it is always best to email your date inquiry before applying to ensure the space is available.
