The City of Belfast is accepting public bids to complete a shore stabilization project at Belfast
City Park. The project involves stabilizing about 473 linear feet of shoreline using riprap, removing and replacing existing precast concrete steps, loaming and stabilizing all disturbed areas and similar improvements. The City will soon receive a DEP Permit for this project.
Sealed bids must be submitted to the City by 2:00 pm on July 10, 2019 for a project entitled:
“City of Belfast City Park Shore Stabilization”. Bids must be delivered to the City of Belfast,
Code and Planning Department, 131 Church St, Belfast, ME, 04915. The bid application package is available on the City website, cityofbelfast.org, reference Doing Business, Bid Opportunities, and in the Code and Planning Dept offices.
The City will formally open the bids at 2:00 pm on July 10 in the Council Chambers of Belfast City Hall. Questions regarding the bids should be directed to Wayne Marshall, Director, Code and Planning, 338-1417 x 135 or at .
