The City of Belfast Harbor Advisory Committee is conducting a Belfast Harbor Small Boat Survey with our Harbor Master.
This survey asks questions about “small boats“ in Belfast Harbor. Small boats include:
-- Canoes or kayaks that can be kept on a rack;
-- Small boats with a shallow draft that are too
cumbersome to lift out of the water after every use
and are more conveniently kept at a dock.
-- Boats that do not need deep water mooring space
Currently the only place small boats can be docked in Belfast Harbor is at the City's dinghy dock, which is only available for mooring owners. The Belfast Harbor Committee is exploring options for increased small boat storage and use in Belfast Harbor.
We would like to hear your responses to the survey questions whether or not you have a boat!
