Windshield Stickers

Windshield stickers are required to use the Transfer Station and must be purchased at the Transfer Station. You must bring proof of Belfast residency such as your automobile registration, a tax, or utility bill. The cost for a windshield sticker is $5 for residents, $10 for businesses.

Pay As You Throw

Bags under 20 gallons: “small”, “white” - $2, or one sticker

Bags 30-45 gallons: “medium”, “regular”, “black”, “green” - $4, or two stickers

Bags 50 gallons-plus: “contractor”, “really big”, “extra large” - $6, or three stickers

The Transfer Station will be closed on the following additional dates to observe Holidays that otherwise fall on a date that the Transfer Station is already closed:

*Please Note: Holidays that fall on a Sunday are observed on the following Monday. The Transfer Station is not typically open on Mondays and full-time staff will receive a paid holiday to be used another day of their choice as approved by their Supervisor.
