The Transfer Station accepts the following
materials:
Tires without rim - under 16.5" fee per tire $1.00,
over 16.5" fee per tire $5.00
Refrigerators or freon containing items - fee per item is $13.00
Other white goods - fee per item is $3.00
Scrap Metal /Light Iron - (no fee)
Used Motor Oil - (no fee) Name, address and phone
number is required to be on container
Electronic Waste - TV's $11.00, Console TV's $21.00,
Computer Monitor $6.00
Brush and Wood - $10.00 per pick-up truck load, $20.00
per one-ton truck load, and anything larger $50.00 per load

- Bottles
and cans are returnable bring them to your local redemption center.
- Salvation
Army - clothing and household goods.

Hannaford's has a
drop off box for recycling bags - paper and plastic.

takes care of a multitude of organic materials - both household
and yard waste can be composed.
