Voting districts established.

For purposes of all municipal elections, the City of Belfast shall be divided into five voting districts, also know as “wards”.  The boundaries of such districts shall be established by virtue of Title 30-A M.R.S.A. § 2503 and by Article II Section 12 of the City of Belfast Charter as follows:

Narrative description of districts:

Ward One:
Beginning along the easterly side of Lincolnville Avenue from the Town of Northport town line to the intersection of the Woods Road.

Along the southern side of the Woods Road to the intersection of the Herrick Road.
 

Along the easterly side of the Herrick Road from the intersection of the Woods Road to the intersection of Congress Street and Perkins Road.

Along the easterly side of Congress Street (aka outer Congress Street) to the intersection of US Route 1. 

Continuing across US Route 1 along the easterly side of Congress Street to the intersection of Grove Street.

Along the southern side if Grove Street from the intersection with Congress Street to the intersection of Church Street.

Along the westerly side of Church Street from the intersection of Grove Street to the intersection of Church Street, High Street and Northport Avenue (at the blinking light).

Across the intersection of Church Street, High Street and Northport Avenue (at the blinking light) along the southern side of Allyn Street to the center of the Passagassawakeag River.
