How to request a voting list Maine law governs the use and distribution of information from the Central Voter Registration (CVR). Every municipality must use the form below for all requests for information contained in the CVR system. I have also posted a copy of the memo from the Secretary of State's office regarding how to complete the request form and facts about the use of the material you obtain from the CVR system. CVR material can not be used for Solicitations of any kind that are not directly related to the activities of a political party, so called “get out the vote” efforts, or activities directly related to a campaign.
