The City of Belfast
The Belfast City Council, at its meeting of Tuesday, June 3,
2008, beginning at 7:00 p.m. or as soon as practical thereafter, in the Council
Chambers of Belfast City Hall, which is located at 131 Church Street, will
conduct a Public Hearing to discuss acceptance of a Housing Assistance Grant
CDBG Grant. The purpose of the grant is to assist Group Home Foundation to
construct 5 one bedroom apartment units for persons with developmental
disabilities on a 1 acre property located on Waldo Avenue. Public comments will
be solicited at this Hearing and will be submitted as part of the Project
Development Phase. All persons wishing to make comments or ask questions about
the acceptance of these funds are invited to attend this Public Hearing.
