Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend the hearing and

Title 30-A Subsection 4352, the Belfast City Council shall conduct a public
hearing in the Council Chambers of Belfast City Hall on January 2, 2008
beginning at 7:00 P.M. or as soon as possible thereafter, regarding a proposed
amendment to the City of Belfast Code of Ordinances, Chapter 38 Parks and
Recreation, sections 38-33 Membership; appointment and term of members;
vacancies. This amendment will expand the commission membership from five
members to seven.
The proposed
amendment along with the complete ordinance is on file at the City Clerk’s
office and is available for public inspection Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M.
through 5:00 P.M. or is available on the city web site at

The Belfast City Council, at its meeting of
Wednesday, January 2, 2008, beginning at 7:00 p.m. or as soon as practical
thereafter, in the Council Chambers of Belfast City Hall, shall conduct a public
hearing regarding a proposed amendment to the City Code of Ordinances, Chapter
102, Zoning, Article IV, Description of Districts, that affects the zoning
district classification for property owned by Jane Robertson and Gary McIntire,
Map 2, Lot 51, which is located at 326 Belmont Avenue. The proposed amendment
would change the current zoning district classification for this property from
Protection Rural to Residential Agricultural-I.
Persons who may be affected by the proposed
amendment are encouraged to attend the public hearing and offer comment.
