In accordance with Title 28A Section 653 MRSA 1964 a public hearing will be held on April 17, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter in the Council Chambers of Belfast City Hall to hear an application by Moorings Oceanfront Resort, Inc. d/b/a Papa J’s located at 193 Searsport Ave., Belfast, Maine for a renewal Malt, Spirituous and Vinous Restaurant Class liquor license, interior only.

Approve the application by Moorings Oceanfront Resort, Inc. d/b/a Papa J’s located at 193 Searsport Ave., Belfast, Maine for a renewal Malt, Spirituous and Vinous Restaurant Class liquor license, interior only.

Request to approve the request by the Belfast Garden Club to hang banners at the three city locations from May 15th to 19th, 2007 for their Belfast Garden Club Plant Sale.  

2) Confirm the reappointment of Robert “Jess” Wiggin as the Sealer of Weights and Measurers for a two-year period, in accordance with Title 10, Chapter 501, Section 2451.

B) Presentation of legislative update by Representative Jayne Giles.  

C) Discussion and action on a request by The Belfast Street Art Project for approval of their “Art for All” interactive community art project. 

D) Discussion and action on the Walsh Field Grounds Keeping bid opening 

E) Review and discuss the retail trade analysis done by EMDC. 

F) Discussion of possible options on retail zoning for consideration at the April 24th public hearing.
