through 3760, a public hearing will be held on January Oct. 2, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
or as soon as possible thereafter in Council Chamber of Belfast City Hall on the
following applications for Automobile Junkyard/ Graveyard Permit for the year
2008:

American Legion, located at 143 Church Street, Belfast, Maine for a renewal
Malt, Spirituous and Vinous Club IV Class liquor license, interior.

application by the Belfast Chamber of Commerce, to have the National Boat
Building Challenge at Heritage Park, (starting from July 24 for set-up, to July
28, 2008, for clean-up) with the event on July 26, 2007; and to place banners
for the event.

Request to approve the application by Colburn Shoe Store to block off five
parking spots in front of their store, to celebrate their 175th
anniversary, on the afternoon of October 13, 2007
3) Request to approve the application by Elizabeth Hieronymus, Belfast - An Old
Fashioned Christmas, to block off Church Street in front of City Hall on Sat.,
Dec. 1, 2007, between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m, for a tree lighting ceremony and

First Reading of proposed amendment to Chapter 102, Zoning, Article V, District
Regulations, Route 3 Commercial District regarding nonconforming status of
Perry’s Furniture property; Map 5, Lot 30.
4.
Introduction of proposed amendments to Chapter 102, Zoning, Article V, District
Regulations and Article X, Contract Rezoning regarding Council proposal to allow
larger retail development in the Route 3 area. Ordinance amendments, if any
are proposed, could be made retroactive to the date of Introduction (this
meeting).
D) Discussion and Action on a request from Belfast
Boatyard to lease 16,280 square feet of City owned land and buildings on Front
Street for a period of 9 years.
E) Discussion and Possible Action on nominations to
Performance/Conference Center Feasibility Committee
F) Discussion and possible action to extend the
concession contract one year with Frank Bruce at City Park.
